Filippos Pliatsikas (Greek: Φίλιππος Πλιάτσικας) was the main composer, lyricist and lead singer of the Entekhno rock group Pyx Lax (Πυξ Λαξ) and is now a solo artist.[1]

Career

After Pyx Lax split up in 2004, he released a critically acclaimed solo album titled Τι δεν έμαθε ο Θεός (What Didn’t God Learn).

In 2005, he released Ταξιδεύοντας με άλλον ήχο (Travelling with a Different Sound), an album of live rock music with an orchestral accompaniment.

His 2007 record Omnia achieved golden and platinum sales. Including his work with Pyx Lax, he has 12 platinum and 3 gold records to his credit.

His music is a mixture of rock and traditional Greek music, but very often he includes classical forms in his songs.
